The wife Perspective; Seeing as I’m the one in this duo who spends majority of their time in Rosenort, I get asked a lot of questions from curious locals as to WHY is Shannon running so much, what is he training for...so that means I’m the one that gets to hear the majority of the gasps & words

of awe for his big adventure. Thank you for all the encouragement. 

When your niece decides Shannon must have protein cookies for his running adventure; my heart melts.

So we go on a hunt for protein powder Thursday evening, which leads us to visiting a dear friend and her little troop of girlies to secure the much needed cookie ingredient. The cookies are safely in the freezer, out of reach from the family Cookie Monster (ahem, the patriarch of the Friesen family) and in a few sleeps the cookies & the eating instructions will get packed in to the RV (along with so much other stuff) for the big run.
