Ovi Is Better Than Sidney

This morning we woke up to find out we had parked in the local grocery store parking lot and so delivery trucks were dropping off goods as we had breakfast.

We set out on the highway again by foot around 9 o’clock. The goal these mornings is to get a good night’s rest and hopefully get some miles under the belt before it gets too hot.

I told Tracy we would run 10 miles this morning but shifted my goals early on without telling her.

There is a fair bit of forest at times and I’m always somewhat hopeful that I might end up seeing a bear or possibly a moose. Yesterdays run contained moose
crossing warning signs. Unfortunately I have struck out so far.

You get a lot of honks and waves from semi truck drivers along the Trans Canada Highway. Though I’m never entirely sure if the honks are intended to scare us off the highway or if they are meant as a form of encouragement (I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe the latter).

After 13 miles on the road we made it to Sidney Manitoba! The body is tired from running in the heat, though that is to be expected. Now as Tracy enjoys a dip in the swimming hole she just found, I am going to try and get some rest.

The wife Perspective (using a cellphone to do these lists is really hard, thus why my comments are not going to be n italic this time because I can’t get it to work)I can’t make this stuff up; there is now a photo shoot happening at the quiet, in the middle of no where lake we are spending the afternoon relaxing at! They’ve setup a generator and pump so they can spray water on this women.
